EXTRA EFFICIENT

 

The concave nose segment create more lift, improving planing performance in light wind.

 

EXTRA DRIVE

 

Enhanced deck concave creates a lower centre of gravity for the drive and power generated through the rig. It also keeps the board stable and planted while blasting in rougher conditions and through jibes.

More comfortable for your skin, the Jim Drake Slick footstraps are made with FSC-certified, sustainably sourced and plant-based Yulex foam. With 85% natural rubber content, CO² emitted during the manufacturing process is reduced by 80%. 15% synthetic neoprene is retained to improve UV resistance.

 

EXTRA TRACTION

 

Under your feet the 10mm thick footpads feature a diamond grooving pattern, providing essential grip and comfort over extended sessions while being resistant to wear-and-tear.

    This board is fantastic! If you are looking for a board that goes fast, eats chop and gybes like a knife through butter then this board is for you. A friend remarked ‘if you shut your eyes you think you’re on an isonic but friendlier’, I couldn’t agree more. It’s fast like an isonic but a lot friendlier and more controlled to sail, which for an average windsurfer like myslef is perfect. I struggle to find the top end of it despite riding predomintly in choppy sub par south coast condiotions. Pairing it with a true freeride sail, such as a cheetah or NCX, is ideal for this board but it also works well with wave and cambered sails.

    I hope you enjoy this board as much as I do, it truly is brilliant.

    For reference I use the 129ltr and find it works great in 15-25 knots.

We never felt so accomplished about a board range. Each board individually shaped for the intended conditions and skill level. On the larger sizes, a long flat section makes for extra easy passive planing and a smooth ride to let you find the footstraps effortlessly. Midrange sizes carve like a small board, yet switching your stance and flipping the sail you have the confidence of a bigger board, thanks to a combination of thinned out rails towards the tail and thicker forward rails.
